Now that it’s February all of us ladies start thinking about Valentine’s Day and how we can create the best one yet. We thinking about how we can create a day where we show our man just how much we love him and how much he means to us. We ponder about new ways to make this year different or better than last. We ask ourselves if he would enjoy our plan as much as we, ourselves, will. This quick guide with 3 steps to create the best Valentine’s Day with help you with all that!
If we are being honest there are only 3 steps to create the best Valentine’s Day! This quick guide lays out the 3 steps to ensure you have a wonderful day with your lover!
Step 1: The Food
Let’s be real…every man loves some good food that he doesn’t get to enjoy often. This may look different for each couple but food gets to be included! Most often food comes in the form of a dinner on Valentine’s Day, but you still have some options on ways to make it happen:
- Go out to eat at a restaurant
- Pick up food at a restaurant to bring home or to a location
- Make a home cooked meal for him
Decide which option your man would enjoy most and which one works best with the other two steps in this guide. Then, plan accordingly. Does reservations need to be made? Do you need a warmer or cooler in the car? What about picking up groceries?
Step Two: The Gift
Valentine’s Day is a time to present a gift to your man! In my opinion, Valentine’s Day gifts get to be a little different than other holiday gifts. For Christmas and his birthday it is all about him! For Valentine’s Day it is totally acceptable for the gift to be something he primarily uses but you both get to enjoy. Things like:
- New clothes or item that could initiate a date night
- Something he wants that would enhance the house or yard
- Book or workshop on something he enjoys that also benefits you or the family
It’s a gift he will be excited to get and look forward to using, but that you get some benefits too! Even if he goes to a “How To Grill” class, you get the benefit of yummy grilled food!
Step 3: The Experience
Now that food and the gift has been taken care of you have maybe the most important thing left- the experience. Often times couples don’t need a reason to go out to eat and you can do it any day. Although gifts are meaningful, they usually can be replaced. But the experience is something that is unique to that moment. It is an activity where you create love, connection and memories! This experience is by far my favorite:
- Melt: Massage Course For Couples
- It is safe to watch (there is no nudity)
- Easy to do with step by step videos
- Can access later to use again
- You will connect with your man in a whole new way
- It’s perfectly romantic for Valentine’s Day! (A couples massage expert shares how massage can make Valentine’s incredibly intimate)
Even if you were to create this same experience next Valentine’s Day (next week or even tomorrow) you would create a different memory with different levels of love and connection. That is why the experience is the most important step in this quick guide!
If you want to make your spouse melt this Valentine’s Day, and give them an experience they’ve never had before, you should definitely get onto the Melt Videos Series.
