Finance Tips for Newlyweds:
Put it all on the table- Be honest with each other in the being! How much debt you have, when it should be paid off, etc.
Accounts together- He said when married there should be “oneness” in all parts of your marriage!
Budget together- And review the budget monthly for changes. Read this if it is hard for you and your spouse to budget together.
Make a plan: Check out Dave’s 7 baby steps to see where the two of you are at. Then, proceed from there with your plan.
Put your relationship first: Yes, money is something that has to be figured out BUT do it while keeping your relationship first! Use effective communication when discussing your finances.
