I wrote about us preparing to leave on Friday. With the time change, flight and such I didn’t think I would get a post up in time for today so I decided to record our packing experience for you. But don’t worry! AWESOME pictures and updates to come soon!

First, I started by gathering all my red, white and blue clothes!

Ryan laid all his stuff out.

Packed snacks for the day of travel and for once we arrive.

I signed up with Team Beads of Courage. It is a program where you can carry beads during races, events or travels.
Then you send the bead and a note back to the organization, which then gives them to a child trying to beat a serious illness.
I am SO excited and hopeful that I can bless someone else through this blessing Ryan and I have received.
(Read how Ryan and I are getting to go to the 2012 London Olympics for FREE)

I painted my nails USA too! ha. The original plan didn’t work because the under coat color started to bleed. Oh well. Funky, but festive!

Pretty much all packed. Just a few things left.
Oh and a Walmart run!

Sleeping masks, Dramamine, gum, flag, sharpies (people to sign with!) and umbrellas.
The two pots and miracle grow is for two plants I needed to take care of before we left!
The next update you will be getting should be some lovely pictures of the Olympics and London!
But here is a sneak peak:

This is our hotel! You can see more pictures here.
