My Toddler’s Favorite Snack (And Why I Approve)

When I was hired by The Women Bloggers to participate in this campaign led by Kendal King Group on behalf of Nestle I was super excited! My daughter’s diet is vegetarian and pretty clean. Which makes it hard to find snacks for her outside of fruits and veggies.

My toddlers favorite snack and why I approve: Made with white beans and rice flour. No GMO's, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.

When Miss M started eating foods I looked into a ton of different puff snacks and really couldn’t find anything that I felt had nutritional value and that were not made of wheat. I ended up going with traditional rice puffs (think Rice Crispy’s) which honestly still didn’t have much nutrients. She likes them, but it drove me insane because they were so tiny and ended up everywhere! Besides, I’m not going to lie I always felt a little guilty because I felt like I was feeding her cardboard!

When I was offered to try #GerberLilBeanies I said yes right away! They had all the features that I previously was looking for!

  • Made out of white beans and has 2g of protein per serving which means real nutrients
  • Made with rice flour so no wheat
  • Big enough for her to hold and not make a huge mess
  • No GMO’s, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors
  • Cost effective at $1.86 per container

Check! Check! Check! Check! Check! Yes, please!

Miss M just loves them! Check out this video of the first time she had them. She just wanted some more!

Mom confession: I’ve been sneaking in the kitchen and eating the White Cheddar & Broccoli Lil’ Beanies while Miss M isn’t watching. Because if she sees them she goes crazy wanting some too! Here is proof that she loves them.

My toddlers favorite snack Gerber Lil Beanies and why I approve: Made with white beans and rice flour. No GMO's, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.

I am so happy to be introduced to these right before Ryan’s race season starts. The cans are easy to just toss in a bag and go. It will make race day snacking (for Miss M and I both!) a breeze!

If you are like me, wanting a nutritious, clean snack for your toddler, make sure to try out the Gerber Lil’ Beanies! They have two flavors Original (Sea Salt) and White Cheddar & Broccoli. You can find them at Walmart starting March 12th!

What makes you interested in the Gerber Lil’ Beanies?

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie

Thank you, Julie! It’s crazy how each toddler has such a personality including their snack preferences! I am glad she and I both can align to these being a snack option!

These snacks are a great solution for the moms out there who want healthy snacks. I love that Gerber is listening to what moms (and tots) want!

Exactly, Brenda! With our daughters diet being vegetarian and wheat free that really limits the options on a lot of things! I was super excited to find these that fit into her diet so nicely!

I am right there with you Sarah! I didn’t like feeding her the other puffs that I would feed her because I felt like they didn’t have any nutrients in them. So I feel much better with these! And I have to say I sneak some of these too!
