You can check out all the great deals I got from the Spring 2015 JBF.

When Ryan and I started thinking about starting our family we knew that we needed to do a few things financially to prepare. We made different arrangements like saving more, changing the way we invested and finding ways to be more thrifty. Our plans helped us pay off debt and increased our savings account.

The time came to start our family and we became pregnant. We started looking at furniture for the baby’s room, completing registries and hearing all the things people said you needed. We realized quickly that these things added up fast and if you were not careful you could spend a fortune on this little bundle of joy. Who would never know the difference! So again we kept an open mind to ways to make our money go further to prepare for Miss M’s arrival.

This is the BEST way I have figured out how to save money on maternity, baby and children clothes!

When I was about 25 weeks pregnant some ladies at my bible study were talking about JBF one morning. I had no clue what JBF was but phrases like “saved a ton of money”and “got name brand clothes” along with the enthusiasm in their voices caught my attention. I joined in the conversation to learn more. Come to find out JBF was the acronym moms throw around for Just Between Friends, a huge consignment sale of all things maternity, baby and kids.

After talking with the mom’s I had to find out more! I looked on the Just Between Friends Tulsa website where I found all kinds of information. I learned not only can you go shop and get great deals, but you can also consign your own stuff you don’t need anymore. If you are a first time mom you can even sign up for an earlier shopping time. You bet I did that!

With great anticipation I awaited for the event. Since I signed up as a first time mom I got to shop before the general public did. I also got to bring two guests with me. I invited my mom and mother-in-law to come along. The day finally came!

With a few tips from other moms I knew to bring my rolling laundry basket and a snack. Once we were inside the staff was explaining where things were located and how the tags, check out and large item pick up worked. This was helpful since we were all newbies. They did some drawings for ladies to go in a few minutes early to start their shopping. We all were let in to start finding our goods.

There was so much stuff! Honestly, I probably could have gotten everything I needed there. After several hours of shopping we ended up with some books, burp rags, a nursing cover, clothes, shoes, bibs, hats, cloth diapers and more. I was able to get some really cute name brand dresses, sleepers that looked brand new, and a unique onsie that looked like someone had made. There were a lot of pieces that I got that I would not pay full price for, but was able to get since they were there. The condition of the clothes all were great so it’s not like you had to dig around to find good stuff. It was more of choosing for sure what I wanted because there was so much I liked!

While we shopped they had different little contests going on. There were some vendor tables on the way to checkout. They even had a table set up showing CPR. The experience overall was amazing! I even went back for the half price sale to find some more good deals. I was glad that I discovered this great way to help our money go further!

After attending Just Between Friends for the first time I completely understood the excitement I heard in the ladies voices from my bible study. I can guarantee others hear that enthusiasm in my voice when I talk about the event as well! And yes I go around referring to it as JBF  now too.

Just Between Friends Tulsa

Since I am sharing about my experience about JBF some of my friends and I are getting to go shop early again. I am super excited to get Miss M some new clothes! She is growing so fast and has went through all her clothes we got at the last sale. I plan to buy enough clothes to get her through to the next sale! I will also be looking for a more compact stroller to take to NY with us seeing how our BOB running stroller just isn’t going to work.

You can check out all the great deals I got from the Spring 2015 JBF.

Just Between Friends Tulsa will be at the Exchange Center at the Expo Square in Tulsa from Sunday, March 1st through Saturday, March 7th. Make sure to check out the full schedule to see when you can get your awesome deals!

If you are not in the Tulsa area, but are interested in checking out a Just Between Friends sale you can find the nearest one to you since they are all over the US and Canada!

What would you want to purchase and save money on at the JBF sale?

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie

You should take a look at the Just Between Friends website and see if they have one in the nearest larger town. It really is worth going. I save a ton of money each time I go. I buy enough clothes and things we need to last us until the next one.
