This summer I have also got to do some DIY projects along with marathon training, blogging, starting up the speaking business and helping Ryan with his videos! Talk about a busy lady! 🙂 But I love every minute of it!
My parents gave me a birdhouse gourd months ago! Finally got a whole in it and painted. I would like about 5 more to add to my back yard! Beware they are a bit stinky when you drill the hole in them- so do it outside!

Finally got all the flower beds weeded and mulched!

Got the last two flower beds covered and mulched! Took a total of 6 hours! Man, talk about a workout.

Used paint chip samples and frames I already had. Just had to spray paint one of them since it was originally red. Don’t worry I didn’t take these all when I was at Lowes- my parents use to own a hardware store- so I kept their paint samples for crafts just like this!
I am not returning to teaching this year as many of you know. But those teachers and that school has a special place in my heart. Dropping the teachers off these pencils for their first day of school.
Also, dropping this notebook off at the school. I hope it provides some positive words and connections for the teachers!
DIY projects are so much fun!
What are some other summer craft ideas?
Until Next Time- Truly Love,
Cassie
