When many people are turning to spiced lattes and any thing pumpkin all I really want are some pumpkin seeds. But honestly, homemade plain pumpkin seeds are not my favorite. I like to spice things up to make them savory or sweet. That is why I am sharing five baked pumpkin seeds recipes that are sure to mix things up.
Choose from these baked pumpkin seed recipes: savory, lemoney, halloweeny, spicy or natural.
Baking homemade pumpkin seeds does take a little prep, but if you are already planning on carving out pumpkins go ahead and take this extra step to make a yummy snack. Besides the kiddos will enjoy the process.

How To Prepare The Pumpkin Seeds

Step 1: Separate the pumpkin seeds from the pulp.
Step 2: Lay seeds out flat to dry over night.
Step 3: Prep a recipe below. Mix ingredients in a bowl with pumpkin seeds.
Step 4: Put seeds on baking sheet in an even layer. Preheat oven 250 degrees. Cook 20-30 minutes. Rotating/stirring every 5 minutes.
You can find a few good pointers on Oh She Glows where she shares her thoughts on how to make the perfect pumpkin seeds.

  • Lemony:  4 tablespoons melted butter, 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper
