There are different phases in our lives and that is okay. Over time things change and again that is okay.

Now that Miss M is here I probably get done in a whole week what I could accomplish in one day before she was here. Yes, it is different. I am trying to figure out how to balance caring for my baby, yet still progressing towards my other goals. I am a person that always has a to do list and always have projects. But then I can overwhelm myself if I am not marking stuff of my self imposed to do list. Let’s be honest that can just be stressful and unhealthy. However, working on those projects are things that I enjoy and want to do. I just have to be realistic when setting goals or adding things to the to do list. And now with Miss M here I find me reminding myself that my most important project right now is caring for her. Surely, I am not the only one that goes through this kind of adjustment once their baby is born.
Ryan and I have now been married for 3 years. Yes, it is different. Who we were when we met and even married is different that who we are now. We have got to experience some great joys and some great heartaches. But that is what has made us who we are today. As a couple we strive to continue to grow and love one another in a way we haven’t before. These changes are for the positive, yet sometimes can be hard as well. To give and love in different ways. It takes energy and effort. Surely, I am not the only one that goes through this kind of adjustment as marriage progresses.
True Agape started out as a newlywed blog and has changed a bit with time. Yes, it is different. As we continued on in our marriage topics were no longer newlywed specific. As we started our family we added some family dynamic to the site. And now taking a look at how we can serve our readers better we are looking to make another shift. A shift that I am excited about, yet wondering if it is the right thing to do because of all the above mentioned things in paragraph one. How do you know what is the right direction to go with your blog? And maybe sometime you don’t. Maybe it is trial and error. Surely, I am not the only one that goes through this kind of adjustment as their blog morphs over time.
So yes. Like I said in the first line. There are different phases in our lives and that is okay. Over time things change. That is okay too. Sometimes we are to take action steps daily, we are to make the best decisions possible and then see what happens. Here is to different phases and changes!
Can you relate to any of the three areas above?
Until Next Time- Truly Love,
Cassie

Oh yes, the ups and downs and changes of life. I can fully relate. I’m going to change my blog name from Newlywed Cooking Adventures soon to Everyday Cooking Adventures because I’m no longer a newlywed! As time goes by we all become a little older and a little wiser hopefully. I’ve seen some aspects of my personality change, improve and some stay the same…and that’s ok!
I totally get it… My blog started with an emphasis on my triathlon adventures, then it morphed slowly into a mom blog… It’s always just been about me and what I’m into (hence the title) and I’m ok with those shifts. Static is boring. Dynamic is where its at:) Its always scary to make a change (in life, with the blog) but usually it’s worth it!
Thank you for the encouragement! It is kind of scary- the unknown- but it is always an adventure! I am super excited to see what 2015 holds 🙂
