Last week we had the great privilege of have Photography By Kari Carter do our pregnancy photo shoot! She was so very pleasant to work with. I really didn’t have any ideas that I just had to try. I knew I wanted to capture this special time with some photos, but I was completely open on ideas.
Leading up to the photo session Kari did a great job communicating her ideas about poses and prop ideas along with giving me feedback on my wardrobe. I felt like this took pressure off of the session and I knew what to expect going in. Which is very nice for a mommy-to-be!
Ok, ok so let’s get to the fun stuff! Here are some of the great pictures Kari was able to capture for us!
If you are local to the Tulsa area Kari works out of Broken Arrow and the surrounding towns so keep her in mind for any photography needs you may have. She is always having some kind of photo session special going on so don’t forget to ask about what it is!

Kari will also be doing our newborn photo shoot within the first week our little one arrives! I am super excited to have her do that session as well! Keep your eyes open as we will share those pictures as well!

I’ve got to admit, I’m not a big fan of belly pictures (there are some doozies out there)– but yours is tasteful and understated and makes it look really cute! Your pictures are beautiful– love the blues and greens! And I think the one of you in the grey tank is stunning! 🙂 I bet you’re over the moon with these! (And you should be!) 😀
I completely understand, Jo! I went back and forth on the bare belly pictures. However, it becomes such a part of the pregnancy I felt like I needed a record of it! I’ll probably take another bare belly picture right at the end. Kari did great coming up with all the ideas on these! I did like the look of the grey tank! Wish I would have done more in that shirt!

Pam- I am so happy with the variety that we got! Kari did an awesome job coming up with different options and ideas. I really had no idea and told her just to run with it. I feel like she did a great job!

We are very happy Kathy! And super excited! Now we are just weeks away from this little one arriving into this world! Tomorrow we are 3 weeks from our due date so we will see when she decides to arrive!
