1 cup whole almonds
1 cup halved walnuts
1 cup peanuts
1 cup cashews
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup roasted pumpkin seeds
Half to whole cup cranberries
Half to whole cup raisins
Instructions: Pour all contents into a bowl and mix. Enjoy! That simple!
1: To eliminate some salt we use dry roasted sunflower seeds and peanuts and plain/dry/natural pumpkin seeds, almonds and walnuts.
2: Whole Foods sells raw pumpkin seeds out of the shell by the pound. I spread a cup of those out and bake them at 35o for about 10 minutes. Let cool then add to trail mix.
3: I do a “double batch” which pretty much feels up a gallon zip lock baggy. We eat on it for a few weeks.
