How To Capture Family Memories

As Ryan would race I would try to capture these great photos of the race and his experience. But I would always end up with a blurred picture or only half of him running by. I am pretty certain we have a decent camera that could capture the memories. It is for sure more of an operator error. I put on my mental list of things I should do: Learn how to use camera.

Capture your very own family meories photography like a pro! Learn camera hacks, access a camera cheat sheet, and so much more. Keep reading to learn more.

Except then I worked on other projects and a baby came along. Now I continue to have some of the same problems and different ones too. A toddler that moves fast creates fuzzy images. I am often unsure of when to use or not use the flash in and outside which then gives me weird colored pictures. And even more so now I want to capture family memories! So again I tell myself: You need to learn how to use this camera!

Well lucky for me right when I really started considering taking a course to figure out my camera a fellow blogger photography friend, Laura, let me know she was in the midst of creating an ebook and online course! I have been patiently awaiting to get started with her course. I have even gotten to take some sneak peaks at it as she developed it!

AND NOW IT’S COMPLETE AND READY TO BE USED!!!!

Laura launched the Love Your Camera products yesterday! She is doing an awesome giveaway and a HUGE discount on the ebook and ecourse for the next week or so!

I’ve already read the first 4 chapters which explained some things like exposure, aperture and shutter speed. Which let me say sound a bit intimidating at first seeing how I have no reference for this camera stuff. But Laura does a great job of explaining things in simple terms, but also uses images to help explain exactly what she is talking about. Every time I read a chapter I am actually excited to get the camera out to play around with the new stuff I have learned!

I believe the best way to capture family memories is to learn how to use your camera and get it off auto mode. So that is what I am up to! And you can do it too!

Check out Love Your Camera!

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the course and e-book, Cassie! It is my hope and prayer that this helps people better photograph their lives and preserve their memories, just like you hope to do now with M and all of Ryan’s races! Can’t wait to see your photos as you implement what you learn! xo, Laura
