I always enjoy being a bit crafty! I get excited about making things using what I have or re-purposing things. Valentine’s Day is no exception! I often hand make Ryan’s Valentine’s Day cards. Why pay $3 to $5 for a card when I can have a blast making one for free!

Here are cards I have made for Ryan the past 3 years.

Handmade Valentine Cards

1: Use layers and texture.

2: Use magazine clippings and stencils.

3: Use pipe cleaners and edge design scissors.

Here are three more ideas I saw on Pinterest that I liked.

I like how these have the buttons! I also like how they are mini. You could make several for him to find throughout the day!

These layers with the accordion style are something I have never attempted before. Adds an extra something, but doesn’t look too hard to do!

I think this card is super cute the way it is like a mosaic. I also like how the brown paper makes the rest of it pop!

Will you be making a card or buying one this year?

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie

These are all such sweet cards! I love the idea of the mini ones to make a bunch of them for different messages scattered around the house. I might have to try that. And I have tons of extra buttons from clothes over the years. Neat!

Cute cards! I was much craftier before I had kiddos- now I usually just buy cards. 🙂
