As apart of creating this 5 Must Have Preschool Lunch Items post I reached out to some of the brands I wanted to feature. Some of the brands agreed to provide free product since I was writing a post about their products. However, all opinions are my own.

With Miss M heading to preschool in a few short week I have been on the hunt for all the needed school items. But since this is our first rodeo I reached out to some momma friends and did some research on some must have preschool lunch items. As a former teacher I remember how challenging it was for the littles to get their lunch ready and eat it before lunch time was over.  When I was looking for the preschool lunch items I was keeping that in mind. How could I make it easy for Miss M to take care of her own lunch and allow the teachers to do other needed tasks?

These 5 lunch box ideas for preschoolers are sure to be a crowd pleaser with mom and toddler. Use these ideas to prep lunches for your picky eater, help cut down on trash, and help your child become more responsible. Try them out and help your little eater be better prepped for preschool.

These are the 5 Must Have Preschool Lunch Items!

Must Have Preschool Lunch Items include this slim lunch pail from Yoobi

Yoobi Flamingo Lunch Pail- A lunch pail that is not bulky and can fit into the backpack easily was a must. The backpack we have for Miss M is already huge for her little body so that a folder can fit inside. I didn’t want to make it any more awkward or heavy than needed. Yoobi always has super cute designs on their school supplies which originally caught my attention. Then, I stumbled my way onto their lunch pails. Which is a perfect fit for us! I have to admit I got some cute tropical school supplies more for me than the preschooler!

Must have preschool lunch items include these reusable baggies that are machine washable by AtMat SplatMat

AtMat SplatMat Reusable Bags– Reusable bags were something I wanted to add more of to our supply for awhile. The two I have had for years are getting warn out and not the best. When I reached out to some mommas they gave me a list of ones to look at. But what I liked best about AtMat SplatMat was 1) machine washable! 2) made by a momma! And she has some super cute fabrics to choose from! No need to waste plastic baggies or add extra dishes to wash everyday in school lunches.

Must have preschool lunch items include these labels and bag tags from Mabel Label's

Mabel Label’s– One of my concerns about preschool is if Miss M will be responsible enough to keep up with all of her things. Mabel Label’s helps with that! They have bag tags, uniform labels, item labels and even stickers for shoes. I would never have thought about the shoes. They have different sizes, designs, pictures and fonts to choose from to match your kiddos personality. Now I can release the stress and worry about her loosing EVERYTHING. At least if it is lost it will have her name on it so it can be returned! They also offer some awesome fundraising deals. I might already be looking for PTA ideas- ha!

Must have preschool lunch items include these FreeYumm bars and cookies which are free from the big 8 food allergies.

FreeYumm Bars– With so many food allergies and Miss M avoiding peanuts I wanted to find a snack option that would be good for preschool. I decided FreeYumm bars and cookies are one of my must have preschool lunch items! They are free from all of the eight main food allergies, made with real ingrediants and are kid size. Miss M can feel like she is having a treat without giving her junk or worrying that anyone will have a reaction. These could even be a good option to send for class snack! My favorite are the Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. You can save 20% when you purchase on Amazon with code FYSAMPLE.

Kids Lunch Container– I was on the hunt for a container that had multiple compartments, easy to clean and Miss M could open on her own. Oh, and that fit into a normal lunch pail! We found ours at Target after searching so many places for an option that would work. Note: the largest compartment is not large enough for a whole sandwich. Since we don’t do sandwiches this doesn’t effect us, but noticed many other lunch containers were sandwich size so just wanted to mention.

There you have it! All the time chatting with fellow mommas and researching done for you. Now you know what the 5 must have preschool lunch items are! I am sure that these preschool lunch items will not only make lunch time easier for your kiddo, but it will also make it easier for you!

And just because I knot the last few weeks of summer can be the hardest- hang in there momma! As difficult as the summer seems I am sure you are making memories with your little ones that will last a life time. If you need support getting them moving these last few weeks check out my post 4 Steps to Get Your Kids Learning And Moving This Summer! You can do anything for a few more weeks!!!

Do you have a must have preschool lunch item we should know about?

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie
