3 Apps That Support Positive Life Skills For Kids

When I wrote about the 3 apps that will improve your marriage I shared how I was really nervous when we got smart phones. I started asking myself how can we use our phones in ways that would support us in positive ways instead of allowing them to draw us apart in our marriage.

Now that Miss M is becoming interested in technology (at the young age of less than two) I am starting to have different worries. What kind of electronics are appropriate? How can they support positive life skills? How much time should we allow her to beĀ on electronics? These questions have had me on the look out for some apps that support positive life skills for kids. And guess what there actually are some!

Teaching life skills to your kids isn't easy. But, isn't there an app for that? Check out this blog post that will help your child (and you) to share, move, and learn to be mindful. Apps for personal development, not just for adults anymore.

Dare To Share Kids– This app is set up to get kids and parents talking and connecting in a pressure free way. It has some ice breakers and silly questions to get the kids open. Along with tips to guide the parents. Then, each session has questions or thoughts that guide the parent and child to connect and share authentically.

Meditation Studio– Looking for meditations for your kids who need to calm down or have short attention spans? This one is great for that. The meditations are quick and easy. There are collections of meditations for kids, teens and even moms!

Sworkit Kids- There are even apps for getting the wiggles out! This app allows you to choose how much time you have then suggest activities like walking on a tightrope or crawling like a crab. Once an exercise is chosen your child can move along with the video demonstration that is done by kids.

Finding apps like these confirms that anything, including social media and technology, can be using for negative or positive. These are just three kid friendly apps that I have found that support positive life skills for kids!

What are kid friendly apps you like that support positive life skills?

Until Next Time- Truly Love,

Cassie
