Our Baby is 1 Year Old!

We are just a few days away from Miss M being 1 year old! First of all, I just can’t believe it!

This year has been so many things. Exciting, happy, fearful, uncertainty, wonder, awe, amusement and so much more. It’s hard to even decide how or where to start explaining the feelings of this past year. To think I never even wanted kids and now we have this little one that I love so much!

Our pregnancy was great and quite easy really. Then, it was labor and delivery time. Which ended up not being so easy! But I am so very grateful for those that supported us through the whole process. I remember thinking how I was so thankful for those medical personnel being their to ensure our daughter’s safety as she had a rough start of entering this world. Shortly after, it dawned on me in just a few short days Ryan and I would be bringing this baby home and it was our responsibility to make sure she lived.

Here we are a year later and we all have survived. Even through the phases that I hated as a mom. We all survived! More than survived, but flourished! As baby, mom and dad. All of us have grown and learned through this year.
