Every day is a great day to be thankful, but today we share the reason with you!
In the past I struggled with anxiety and stress to the degree that I took medication for it. I struggled for so long on my own to handle it I resorted to medication. Finally after several years of being on medication to help aid in the anxiety and stress I was able to no longer take the medicine. With exercise, diet, journaling and choosing to be around positive people my anxiety and stress seemed to pretty much disappear! I have been off the medication for close to 3 years now.
However, the past few weeks I have been battling anxiety and stress. I felt like it was starting to take me over again and not really understanding why. I was getting frustrated about it and it was making me mad. I wanted to explain to Ryan what I was feeling, but didn’t really understand it myself so how would I explain it to him? But I knew this was something I needed and wanted to share with him.
This week I attempted to explain to Ryan how I had been feeling. He held my hand and listened. He has been very supportive. Not once has be told me I am crazy! Imagine that 😉 A little piece of the anxiety/stress has been lifted just knowing he knows what I am dealing with and knowing he is here for me through it.
I am so thankful for a husband who is here to support me in all areas of life! I feel so loved and am oh so grateful for that!
