We all have some kind of goals that we want to accomplish. Big or small. On paper or in our minds. These goals can range from personal issues like eating habits to business objectives like hitting an income marker. We often create goals, even if we are unware, to help us fulfil our purpose. For instance: we have to be healthy to do our calling. Maybe we feel like we will have more time freedom for our mission if we reach a certain income. It’s important to know how to set goals to fulfill your purpose.
My husband, Ryan, and I are constantly setting and reevaluating our goals to ensure we are fulfilling our missions and using our God given talents. Shortly after we got married we started our marriage blog, True Agape. We are in the process of Ryan becoming a professional triathlete. And he is also a youth motivational speaker. Did I mention we have an eight month old? These are all things that we feel we have been called to do in a way that encourages others. Ryan and I take time to create goals to ensure our success in all of these areas: our marriage, the blog, training, speaking business and parenthood.
I think it is safe to say each of you, just like Ryan and I, want to be successful and know we are contributing to the world in a positive way. I personally believe having goals aid us to stay on target to fulfil our purpose in a way that pushes us beyond our comfort zone.
