Sometimes Ryan and I sleep in different beds. I know, less than two years into marriage and I am forced to sleep in a different bed than my husband! How does this happen?!
Ok, ok so it is not what it may seem. Let me explain. This past weekend we traveled to Lubbock, Texas for Ryan to do a half Ironman. We travel often during the summer time for races and typically stay at hotels.
At home we quickly upgraded to a King bed after we got married due to sleeping issues. Now when we travel it is hard to get a king size bed. I think in all our travels it has happened once! So instead of us trying to squeeze into one bed Ryan opts in for the room with two beds.
Therefore, when we travel for races I am pushed out to my own bed to sleep for the evening. It is in deed a odd feeling. But I will take one for the team! I am glad that he gets a good nights sleep the night before the race! Besides he will come cuddle with me before we crawls in his bead or I’ll sneak over to him in the morning when we wake.
Every time we travel I tease him about kicking me out to a different bed! So there it is: Different Beds for Ryan and I… but only on occasion!
We want to know: Does your travel arrangements make you sleep in different beds sometimes? How do you feel about that?
