Several times I have heard couples say that couple counseling isn’t just for partners having issues, but it is in fact for everyone. The first time I heard that I thought it was the strangest thing! Ryan and I have not visited a couples counselor thus far in our marriage, but we have done some seminars and trainings this year where we got to work on some things in our marriage. Which made me then realize maybe couples counseling isn’t just for people who are currently dealing with hardships.
That’s why I thought this info graphic was so interesting. Couples who are not in hardships have these reasons of cost, time or if it would even be beneficial. They are not currently in a breakdown and willing to do whatever it takes. This info graphic gives some great information in regards to why counseling is beneficial.
Ryan and I have discussed couples counseling this year since our different trainings. I’m interested to know what your experience was with couples counseling.
What did you learn about yourself in couples counseling?
